This is a silk Vivat Ribbon. It measures 15 1/2″ x 2 1/2.” The ribbon is pink. It celebrates the successes of General von Mülhausen, who commanded the VII. Armeekorps during the first days of WW I. This ribbon specifies the date of 10 August 1914. The ribbon features a portrait of von Mülhausen, a 1914 Iron Cross, and French troops being routed from the battlefield. The ribbon was issued by the German Red Cross (Deutsche Roten Kreuze). It is in excellent condition.
