This is a veteran’s medal that salutes and commemorates Generalfeldmarschall Paul von Hindenburg. The obverse shows him in a business suit and recognizes him as the Reich’s President. The reverse features the magnificent church of Cologne (Köln), Germany. The church is well-known throughout the world. Although it was extensively damaged during WW II’s bombing, it has been returned to its former glory. The displayed date 21 March 1926 must certainly commemorate a visit by the president. The medal measures 1 ½” in diameter. No jump ring or ribbon is present for the medal.
