This miniature artillery shell has been fashioned into a cigarette lighter. The lighter’s overall height is 3 ¼.” The lighter’s projectile top pulls out to expose the wheel’s top that the user turns to create a spark from the flint and ignite the wick. The wheel turns and the wick is in place, but it does NOT spark. I do not know if the flint is missing, or what other problem may exist. The lighter’s lower section pulls out to insert lighter fluid. The very bottom of the assembled cigarette lighter measures 3 ¼” in diameter. Stamped on its bottom is the Paris manufacturer/distributer’s name. We seldom offer non Imperial German items. We acquired this with a few other Imperial German items, however, so we offer it in the hope that it will find a good home.
