This postcard displays a charcoal sketch of Württemberg’s Duke Albrecht from the chest up. During WW I, he held the rank of Generalfeldmarschall. He was an excellent field troop commander. He was no à la Suite general, but one who led either an Armee or Armee Gruppe. He is wearing a visor cap. Below his image is a reproduction of his signature. The postcard was issued under the auspices of the German Red Cross. It was mailed in 1920.
