The table medal is made of a dark, non magnetic metal and measures 1 7/8″ in diameter. The obverse shows von Banfield wearing the Austrian Navy’s uniform and visor cap. His name appears on the obverse, along with “KuK. Lschlt.” The reverse shows planes in combat, with a smoking one headed toward the water.
