Today we are offering a table medal, measuring 2″ in diameter, that features August von Mackensen, one of the best-known, most-successful WW I German generals. He was especially-known for wearing 1. Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr 1’s uniform. He is wearing the latter’s attila on the table medal. Some light corrosion shows at the medal’s bottom, as well as a touch at the medal’s top on two of his name’s letters. The reverse depicts two soldiers shaking hands. In spite of the condition issues, it is a reasonably-priced table medal.
