This is a news magazine published during WW I’s early months that measures 9 ½” x 13.” Much of its information deals with the Eastern Front. Its front cover depicts pickelhauben-wearing German troops in their trenches, while some interior photographs show scenes of battle damage. It includes photos of several commanders such as von Mackensen and von Eichorn, Bavaria’s Generalfeldmarschall Prinz Leopold mounted on his horse, and shots of Austrian forces. Many other photos are contained in its more than thirty pages. It is a wonderful reference source.
